I feel that I was a primary troll in Sox/Cubs postings. I did it for my personal entertainment. While it upset a few, I think it was taken in stride by the masses. It now appears to me that things have taken a much more personal turn and I would hate for relationships to be destroyed over simply identifying the collective insanity of the north side fan base. I would ask people to show restraint going forward and think about the results of what you type no matter how foolish a cubbie fans post may appear on its face. Don't take joy in impending early exits and sophomore slumps but recognize your brother in the face of the unfortunates.

Peace be with you.

Trying to stop being an asshole must be a harder habit to break than quitting heroin or getting off of cigarettes.

Thus our need for patience and understanding with our Cub fan brethren.

Don't start squirming now just because the Cubs are WS contenders.

I don't say it for me. I say it for others.

I will be front and center laughing at the loss in game 163.

What are you referencing? JORR and Darkside? They're practically making out in the rivalry thread now.

This is why football > baseball. No dividing of the city into equal parts.

Dr. Ken did this bit considerably better yesterday with considerably fewer words.

I'll accept those conciliatory words. But I'll be watching the actions to confirm that they were written with sincerity.

YO GD... NO apology needed as far as I am concerned... I would read your trolls and shake and my head and often times laughed out loud.... the last few days have been ugly with the name calling on both sides.... it is NOT fun or funny... I like the different points of view from both sides ... only one disagreement with your post here "the collective insanity of the north side fan base" ... I think it is equally insane from the south side fan base.

I look forward to your next good natured troll ..... We all need a laugh!!!

I'm not saying I accept it, just that you have beguiled these stool jockeys with your wizardry.

So, you conceded but you don't accept it.

You're a regular Al Gore.

I concede that you are CONSIDERED, not that you are.

I met Al Gore once in a fairly small session meeting. I even cracked a joke to him. He didn't seem like the stiff he is portrayed to be.

What was the joke? Was it Nas' joke about Tonto Gonzalez?
