How can you have a starting backcourt in which neither of your guards is at least an above average penetrator?

Two guys were getting good penetration for the Bulls last night: Nocioni and Duhon. Nocioni just couldn't finish a lot of the time, and Duhon wasn't getting any minutes. He was very effective when he was in there.

I remember thinking, up until the start of the 4th quarter, that Steve Nash was very quiet, the Bulls are playing pretty good D on him. Then, he took over the game in the 4th quarter. It was pretty awesome to watch that.

Duhon seems to be the Bulls' best penetrating guard. Unfortunately, he prefers to take the three rather than putting the ball on the floor much of the time. I think teams let Nocioni take the ball to the hoop because they know he's a horrible finisher and has historically been much more dangerous from the 3-point line.

That's because Nash was out pretty much of the third. Night and day difference with that team when he is on the bench.

Yeah, they get a lot of easy buckets when he's in there, unlike the Bulls who were taking a lot of bad shots last night.
