Holy hell of a catch by the left fielder to clinch the no no!!! That was outstanding.

most career no-hitters:

Nolan Ryan (7)
Sandy Koufax (4)
Bob Feller (3)
Larry Corcoran (3)
Cy Young (3)

Verlander would join that list.

The guy who gets the only hit has a batting average of .188

That has to suck big time.

They're showing Astros vs Rangers. It's Kazmir vs Hamels in the first of a four game series. The Astros lead the Rangers by 1.5 games. Meaningful September baseball in the state of Texas. I don't think anyone predicted that before the season started.

Was watching this in between the football games, nice to see Prince come up HUGE in the bottom of the 8th. Disappointed in the Rangers fans though, lots of empty seats for a team in a playoff race playing against your in state rival.

That was a good game. I'm glad to see Prince having a real nice bounce back season. I've always been a fan of his. It looks like the boo-yas are showing game two tonight. God I hope that broad isn't in the booth again.

why do you hate women?

schilling got suspended for awhile so you're going to have to experience jessica mendoza AND LIKE IT. i'm going to be smiling knowing her every knowledgeable/experienced word is causing you pain..... stop hating on the future man, just because MLB is 100% comprised of men doesnt mean our color-GUYS.... ahem, color-PEOPLE have to be an all boys club. these women have played fast pitch softball so maybe they have even better insight than the good ol boys club that just played baseball?

TLDR = STOP HATING AND EMBRACE THE FUTURE! WOMEN ARE HERE TO STAY WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT! sooner than later we're going to have an all-female crew calling MLB/sporting-events. might as well learn to love it because you have no choice unless you wanna be a miserable bastard!

Hot damn dem Rangers just swept a 4 gamer from the Astros. The Astros might piss away a playoff spot. That would be a shame. A real cryin shame I tell ya.
