He got 4 more plays instead of 4 & 11 deep in his own end. NIU's defense was strong all day. He relied on them.
I'm actually not a big supporter of his, but I had no problem with that decision.

If they fail on 4th & 11, it's an automatic FG for OSU, minimum.

I did have a problem with the timeouts toward the end.
The 1st one, on 3rd down inside the 5 of OSU, was bad. I think he was hoping the refs would review the spot if he took a TO, but then just challenge.
And then NIU comes out of that TO and commits a fast start....inexcusable. It didn't really hurt them I guess, they still got the FG. But 7 there would have been nice.

I didn't see all that, but in my opinion the game was over. They probably lose either way, but they played a great game. Kudos to them.
