This is shocking. Beating the Cardinals with Haren being pulled early in his start and then the team going with a bullpen day.....fun, but shocking. If Lester can have another good start and the Cubs can complete the sweep, winning the division suddenly seems like a realistic possibility.

Ill never understand the anger. If someone is called a genius and I think it's ridiculous I'll laugh maybe a slight eye roll. The anger though...

My dad got Cardinal announcers for Friday's game, and he said they were ridiculous... taking shots at Maddon, bitching about the umps, and defending the Cards throwing at Rizzo.

There is an unnatural hate for the Cubs by the Cards announcers. Shannon is the only one who gives them props but he is immediately shot down by that douchebag Rooney.

I've only heard it from you guys who can pick up the Cardinal broadcasts that he's a peenus but I liked Rooney when he was here.

There definitely is... and, in general, the Cardinal fans I know aren't like that (I know there are some)... the Card fans I know carry a certain confidence that is almost "above" getting mad about trivial things... which I always attributed to their success. The announcers are older than the average fan, though.
