So Cutler quit again. Even if he did pull a hamstring, he should have gone back on the field, because the game was not out of hand at that point. I am wondering whether he was still shaken up from the illegal hit to the head in the previous series, and the Bears effed up by not taking him out then to have him go through the concussion protocol.

One thing is certain with Cutler out who knows how long---you cannot start Clausen against Seattle without being laughed or booed out of the stadium. Bears need to sign SOMEONE off the street today. If Pace doesn't he should be fired.

Tebow is available. Ryan Lindley was the guy the PATS let go when Brady was reinstated. Here are some others.

1 T.J. Yates
2 Christian Ponder
3 Seth Lobato
4 Tim Tebow
5 Ryan Lindley
6 Matt Flynn
7 Dustin Vaughan
8 Thad Lewis
9 Bryan Bennett
10 Phillip Sims
11 Jerry Lovelocke
12 Chandler Harnish
13 Chase Rettig
14 Josh Freeman
15 Cody Fajardo
16 Shane Carden
17 R.J. Archer
18 Jeff Tuel
19 Pat Devlin
20 Jake Waters
21 Jake Heaps
22 Josh Johnson

Mully and Hanley are effing stupid. You are not going to win anything with Clausen, I don't care how many weeks of preparation he has.

Sign someone off the street today or go 0-14 for the rest of the season and have a lot of no shows at Soldier Field.

You think all those guys are better than Claussen?

He seems serviceable

Trade a 7th rd pick for RG3 and let's get some fun bad stuff working here

Clausen can't throw or move, so why bother??

They have to make a move. RG3, Tebow, somebody but not CLAUSEN. I won't watch one more Bears game with fucking Clausen. I'll be golfing Sundays at noon.

Clausen makes one appreciate Jay Cutler.

Bottom line,Gaze made the same mistake Angelo made sometime ago. He doesn't have a viable backup at QB. Clausen is not it. What's Vinny Testaverde doing?

Absolutely.

To make a point to get M and H to call you an idiot, that's saying something.

That said, I start Fales this week with Claussen as my backup. You don't think you have anything with Fales, but should find out for sure. You know what Jimmy's ceiling is.

I'm sure Fox/Gase didn't want the guy, but the job came with a bunch of stipulations like, "we're not eating $30 million of Jay's contract."

Why does anyone care about this? The Bears are awful. Put Jared Allen at QB for all I care.

Just the Bears luck. They'll probably secure one of the top two picks and there's no QB to select.

The only concern should be if Cutler showed enough to make the Bears move on from him in the offseason.

"Yeah, but he was 8 for 8 before he threw a pick 6" and "We didn't get embarrassed by the Packers and were in it until he threw that interception!".

Typical dumb and redundant thread started by the well known internet narcissist Q Bovifs. While unsurprisingly dumb, these "thoughts" could have easily been folded into the many existing threads about this week's debacle, or the many threads about the perpetual debacle that is Jay Cutler and the post-Lovie Bears.

Who are the idiots? Fox with Clausen as a starter in Carolina was 2-14. What do you think is going to happen here??? Clausen sucks and so does Fales.

You cannot do worse bringing in a guy off the street, so do it. At least Tebow would be exciting.

Didn't Dignified Rube have the Bears at 10-6 last week?

Typical veganfan post, sniping at someone but never having an original thought about anything. What's your answer? If you say Clausen or Fales, you're fucking moron too.

I said floor was 8-8 with Cutler. Again, the Bears were competing with Cutler. I don't give a shit about the interception. Had he returned to the field, you're still in the game against Arizona. Cutler had a perfect passer rating until the interception.

I see the fucker fumbled again, but it went out of bounds. I've never seen a QB that can't hang onto the ball like this guy.

He also had 0 touchdown passes in the game if you don't count the touchdown pass.

This comment does not bring you any closer to winning a championship.

The question is what to do now? Clausen and Fales are not even viable. There has to be a guy out there that you can bring in. I don't care if he's not ready this weekend, I'm thinking longer-term. You bring in Tebow and play him and see how he does. Because the alternative is losing anyway.

I don't want Tebow. I've already got to deal with Seacrest around here.
