You should have asked BigCat for a ticket.
He probably gets free popcorn and stuff.

Dude, I didn't know you were a bocce guy! You should come up and play in the tournament we have at my club. Those guys have a nice court up in Highwood. I believe they flew in the Roger Bossard of bocce courts from Italy to design it.

Here's my best bocce story. A couple years ago, my drunken partner heard that Pinstripes was hosting a tournament that paid $15,000.00 to the winner. He found out that only twelve teams had entered. He got three of his equally drunken buddies together and paid the entrance fee which I think was fifty bucks a guy. They showed up and they were the only ones there that didn't have their own sets of balls. Some of these guys even had special bocce shoes. There was ateam from Yonkers and another team that actually came in from Italy. These guys make a living playing bocce. My partner and his friends were the only guys drinking. They didn't score a single point. Most of the guys in the tournament could drop a ball on top of the pallino from forty feet and have it stick right there.

A couple of years ago DB went on an epic rant blasting Diehard Cubbie fans so devoted and blind to the organization's shortcomings.

 Bernstein: (Godfella Paraphrasing): "These are the same idiot fans who name their kids, Billy, Ron, Ernie, Clark, etc... They have rooms full of Cubs crap that is meaningless! They even name their stupid pets, Brick, Ivy, Addison & Wrigley!!!"

Anybody else recall Mr. Funsucker's rant?

Elena Della Donne has a special needs sister named Lizzie.

Elena does a ton of great charity work for Special Olympics.

She seems to be a real class act.

The wife, daughter, and I were at the last regular season home Sky game (button 48). Was a fun night and a good crowd. Didn't take a pro scout to know Della Donne was the best player out there.

EDD and her brother are great people. She reealies what she got here and is making the most of it. Her brother is her agent for all other matters as the eague pays salaries.

I am not a bocce guy, know some members up there, went to talk about things as they are relocating the club down the street and yes, bringing in the Italian world Bocce court speicalists to design and build it. Thats serious business up there.

I know Chambers wasn't the MVP but any reason to post this gif and I'll do it.

Come to think of it, I do believe Chambers was the All Star Game MVP, does that count?

Maybe I wondered if Nash got one. Or Rebecca Lobo?

Didn't Nash win one the same year that Morneau won his MVP? So two Kanaydian [SA too] MVP's in the 4 major sports. Possibly Crosby for the hat-trick.

Nash won twice

But he's from Canada. Probably doesn't count.

THe good thing about having a dog named Brick is that advertising for Pup-Peroni doesn't work on him.
