On Wednesday he sure as shit made it seem like he went to the ends of the earth to verify his claim that this was THE evidence bag. Which is a story that lasted oh about two hours before Hamburg spoke up.

I think you have to be crazy to think that the mom acted completely on her own with that. At the very least, the accuser had to know what she was doing and very possibly her attorney.

I think you are leaving out people's views of reality. As an example, Lena Dunham isn't lying when she says she was raped. Taking all the information she provided in the best light possible towards her position, I don't think anyone believes she was raped. However, in her mind she was.

Well, you are basically saying it doesn't make sense why they would do it too.

The biggest issue here is that there isn't really a way that the mom could have done it alone assuming the numbers and all matched up. It's not like she could go to the grocery store and just buy a zip lock bag and hand it to the lawyer and say "Here is the rape kit container".
