Once again, Bears beat guys breaking the stories.

Trading for Gaines Adams wasn't the problem. Trading a 2ND ROUND PICK for him absolutely was. Then to have him die was just incredible. Such a Bears moment.

Trading Jared Allen for anything really is a win. He's been utterly useless in a Bears uniform and whatever he was gonna do in football, he's done it, much less in the 3-4.

Allen can be seen jaking it on a number of replays. A guy blows by him and he just stops pursuing. I'm glad to see a pulse from this Bears regime. In the past,Allen would just sit on that roster.

Ehh..Allen strikes me as an ancillary piece...not someone you sign to elevate you to the next level. Though I backed it at the time, I think the worst signing in recent memory is the re-signing of Cutler.
