I am all for the trade and no regrets on it....but will not be surprised if he has an impact there as an edge rusher/blitzer.

Remembet the great Mark Anderson...12 sacks rookie year....did nothing for the next 5 years, goes to HOU...nothing...then goes to NE...10 sacks.

6th round picks are more or less giving you first dibs at the udfa players... Very surprised they give up on bostic without letting him actually play this year. Unless they didn't want that game tape to get out

Nothing to base this on but giving up on a second round pick two years into his career can also reflect possible character and/or locker room issues. Maybe they felt he was a cancer or potential cancer or something. Again nothing to base this on but I'm just speculating as to why give up a young player with promise for a useless pick.

I don't really get this one unless they've just decided that Bostic is horrible. He's still young and probably a better prospect then whatever guy they get in the 6th round next year.

I'm growing increasingly troubled by the fact that Pace did not recognize this team as being horrible in the offseason. His attempt to chase his mistake now is a positive step but not really worth praise.

Brick I am beginning to think they knew this all along regarding rebuild year. Either they had to give ownership cover or they have some other reason to disguise it.

They did not know this all along. Multiple moves would have been completely different.

Pace may have known, but he didn't have the power to do what needed to be done until upper management was shown, but that is just as bad.

Dont get me wrong. Im pretty much joking. And if they get something out of him then good for him.

I think Bostic has tools, but didnt seem to be able to cover. Certain teams seem to always get the best out of players. Just happens I guess. Luck

A change of scenery is probably good for Bostic, and a draft pick is good for the Bears.

If Bellichik is salivating at getting Bostic, then Pace traded him too cheaply to the PATS. Who trades 2nd round picks for 6th rounders? The same team that trades 2nd round picks for dead people.

I think we screwed up here. Bostic said that playing the 3-4 was not too different to him than the 4-3. If so, then our coaching is to blame for Bostic not playing up to his potential, a potential Bellichik is sure to take advantage of.
