3rd or better. Trading Forte basically eliminates the Bears from resigning him and whichever QB they draft #1 should be set up to succeed.

The Colts gave up a first for Trent fucking Richardson, you can get a 2nd or 3rd for Forte.

Ain't now way you get a 3rd.

It all depends. Common sense or not, it's about return and potential. Alshon's ceiling is very high and while it's fair to criticize him hiding behind these soft-tissue injuries while throwing out first pitches and such during a probably-lost season, if the best you're going to get is a 4th or a 5th? That's not good enough for my tastes.

If Pace is indeed open to trading basically anybody but his own core, he's got to target the first 3 rounds at some juncture. Alshon should net you at least a 2nd and Forte a 3rd, but ask for 1sts in return. I want to see some shrewd bargaining here in what's a bizarre series of in-season trades.
