I can't argue with this at all.

Without Cutler, it's 17-0 Oakland.

17-3

We'd have that fg off of McPhees INT

I stand corrected.

He wasn't worth the money or years Emery paid him, but the arguments people made for starting nobodies over him can almost always be traced back to a particular moment or game where a fan makes up their mind and says ENOUGH (2011 NFC title comes to mind) and begins to look for any reason to see anyone else play QB for their favorite team, while the OTHER side of the fan coin wants to see Cutler succeed because they feel like he is capable of having his moment in the sun in spite of all the statistics, trends, and flaws that indicate this kind of consistency is impossible from Cutler.

This is exactly how I view Cutler. The promise and talent that he displayed as a 23 or 24 yr old has long since subsided. The talent is what wowed people about him. You can't be holding that same conversation about him at 32.
All of the coordinators and coaches have not been able to correct the flaws that he possesses. He has not been a willing participant in this process either.
That being said he is not as bad a player as his detractors would lead you to believe. Cutler's essential problem is that he has been good at times but never great. You don't win simply because you have Jay Cutler on your team. That doesn't mean he is a complete bum. It just means that if you're mad because he is not Brees, Brady, Rodgers, Manning, Luck, or even Tony Romo, then your anger is probably misplaced.

The other part of that is the fucking salary that Emery decided to pay. He is nowhere near worth it.

Yes but I thought he'd be more like Favre. I'm mad because he's the losing version of Favre.

The Raiders defense still doesnt realize that opposing offenses play a TE.

That's what I thought also. I figured out a few yrs ago that he would never be that and decided to settle for him simply becoming Vince Evans. That'll work for me.

And nice to get a win finally. Now we don't have to worry about being 0-16 Detroit

Horrray, win a meaningless game! Now we get to hear about how wonderful the defense played and how we gutted out a win.

This is why the Bears never end up with elite talent and never pick at the top of the draft.

Without the perfect quarterback rating in a game against Green Bay.

Don't forget Jay Cutler heroically coming back a week early and only having one terrible redzone interception.

Two bad Bears thoughts, please disregard these, unless being a moron is what you're looking for.

I know what you mean though, Pickles and Fales do not give them a chance to win. Cutler can win them a game but he is well able to cost them a game as well. I'm just giving you shit.

No matter what, they clipped Pickle's playbook to virtually nothing in Seattle. Probably would have passed INTs like water, but, we don't know.

Let's go get Henry Burris back!

Time for the Cowboys to trade Mat Cassell (to help the Bears the rest of the season at QB) and a couple of low round draft picks to the Bears and acquire Cutler.

I like sports, I hate the Bears. Tired of them monopolizing the sports landscape the way they do; no team in pro sports does less with more.

For hating them so much you sure do feel it's important to comment on them. Poorly at that. Just ignore it if it's such a burden.

Why did we need one badly? What does this win get us? Closer to 5-6 wins and a 8th-10th draft pick?

Maybe we can resign Forte and keep him for 4 years?

A loss and a potential 0-5 helps more than winning these stupid games. Some people are playing checkers, others are playing chess.
