For kid-friendly try Hackney's on Harms. Just a little west down OO road. http://hackneys.net/location/harms/

That's the spot I'd recommend. I'm surprised bigfan didn't come up with that one.

I used to love Hackney's on Harms. Haven't been in about 20 years.

yeah, because Hackneys is really close to the rink. Which was why Spaulding asked, she isnt going to a wedding/ Hackneys is in glenview, the opposite way from the rink.

Bakers Square is fine and its the closest place to the Park. Thats why I made the call.

Bagel is also fine, but I consider that place more kid tolerant, than friendly.

I am a Hackneys fan, but this trip of Spauldings was my daily life for a number of years of my yute.

I didnt tell her to hit hot Dog Island or Sarkis either

Bakers square was our "upscale" place when we biked around there....and for period of my life, thats Bakers Square was an empty field, with a kick ass hill that you could jump off with your bike. Then it became a Poppin Fresh. We would hit peacocks (now the chase bank) for Hot Dogs and Ice Cream.

Actually Poppin Fresh became Baker's Square. In the Poppin Fresh days it was my P's go-to place for Thanksgiving pies. Lines everywhere!

Actually, he said Baker's Square was originally an empty field...then it became a Poppin' Fresh...then it became Baker's Square.
