that said, fair point i spose..... cuz look at how quick ppl are with wanting to create the new cub playoff game threads... hell, remember when making b&b showthreads was, UH, KINDA REALLY A PRETTY FUCKING BIG DEAL? and SHARK took a lot of pride in doing them but then a bunch of other people wanted to de-SHARKify the threads and thus we'd often have multiple showthreads like "OH WHOOPSIE DAISY.... MY BAD (POST IN MY THREAD PLZ)" --- and now it's just kind of like some days i'll have a b&b thought i wanna post and i'll see no thread and go make one and then within 15-30mins you'll check back and see 15 replies like other ppl were clearly waiting for the thread, but nobody wanted to be "that guy" making it lest you face future accusations of being part of the B&B ALS clique.

and hey you of all ppl know how the future goes.... it's literally in your signature beneath every post.

sooooo yeah, i guess i'll pour some out (coffee) in memory of the CH hawks threads.... the only hawks threads on the CSFMB you were guaranteed to learn something from, and i'm not even a hockey guy! #NevarForget!

I was at a wedding in Cinci last weekend so I just saw the home and home vs. NYI. Holy crap I did not expect Foley to go off on Versteeg like he did. I don't think I've heard him go off on anyone since he went off on the entire team during the 3rd period of Game 6 vs. Phoenix in 2012 and before that it had to be Karpovtsev.

Clearly as my user-name suggests, I'm a big fan of Foley (even if it was Dale who delivered the line)

On a hockey note, holy shit, they have a power play. I haven't seen one of those work in years for the Hawks.
