I think McDermott could be a Dunleavy type of player.

Dunleavy was not that good in his first season.

I dont think Thibs wanted him and was not going to play him much.

This season will give a way better idea of what he is.

Long time guy, I absolutely thought of the absence of Thibs to be an upgrade. But w/o the horses even Phil couldn't get this Bulls team over the top. I agree with the poster that said: WE NEED A SUPERSTAR! We're gonna have another 50+ win season and win a playoff series. That's about it unless Mirotic blooms/explodes/arrives.

I hadn't noticed that Noah ain't starting when I put up the lineups. I like that idea!

I still think they have 3 potential All Stars. Noah is also capable of playing at a high level. My main concern is the three position. They need a guy that will make James work defensively in the playoffs. They don't have that and it could potentially come back and bite them. That's why I wanted Rudy Gay. He has a history of matching up with the top 3's in the league. It has been painful to watch some of the Bulls 3's have to match up with top flight wings.

That's about what my guess would be. James just OWNS our entire ass.

I will NEVER understand a guy getting a 3 second violation. You gotta be able to count to 3.

A horrible line drive alley oop to Buckets by Miro but he MAKES the shot!!!

Nice to see 10 different players in the 1st quarter.

Keep these guys fresh and you'll go a long way.

You've got to be shitting me ... I hope that was a lot of nothing with his limping.

Both teams sloppy and then crisp. Fucking eggshell Rose limping like a bitch already...J. Buckets playing great...Miro OK (not great)

Not much of a half court game for us but otherwise pretty good. Snell good and Pau not a factor yet.

Paxson knows talent.

Hell, Aaron Gray played in the league for damn near ten years.

He's played really well here in the 3rd. He's gone strong to the basket and finished as well.

Nah, Sitting on the bench helped him develop as a player. It also has done wonders for McDermott and Jimmy Buckets. The old adage of you don't get better by watching doesn't apply to Thibs coached teams.
