They are not looking good currently. They made two moves that are currently killing their team.

1. Trading Brandon Knight and Acquiring Carter Williams. That move was boneheaded at the time and it looks even worse now.

2. Signing Greg Monroe. Monroe is a career loser. He puts up numbers on bad teams. He never has had much impact in terms of affecting games.

Kidd out coached Thibs during last season's playoffs. May not be better in the long run but he got the better of him last season.

ok so now the narrative has changed.

Kidd was a better coach for a few games, but he may not be going forward.

The reality remains that Thibs has always and will always be a better coach than Kidd.

Kidd got the Bucks to play a few games in the playoffs over their head and beat the Bulls in those few games while the Bulls were looking ahead.

Not just a few games. Kidd's record was 9 games worse than Thibs last yr. Milwaukee lost their best player Knight and two starters Parker and Sanders yet finished .500 last yr. They were not predicted to win more than 26 or 27 games. They won 17 the previous yr I believe.

Kidd has to get credit for that. It's still early as to whether he will be better than Thibs. They are underachieving though.

Thibodeau was the second best coach in the league during his tenure.

Kidd would need success, for a sustained period of time, to even be in a conversation about 'good' coaches...let alone up there with Thibodeau.
