This gets better with each listen.

You might like it, T-Bone.

Hmm, I only have Strawberries but love "Life Goes On" so much. How does that compare?

I don't know Strawberries well enough to compare the two. It's a comfortable "New Rose"/ "Neat Neat Neat" era Damned production. Not challenging, but I don't think you'd dislike it.

Dave Vanian (not to be confused with Dave in Champaign) is now unofficially John Waters' stunt double. (again, not to be confused with Dave in Champaign, who is now, it has recently been leaked, officially John Waters' stunt double.)

Hey! Look at me! Picking fights! Cryptic, to be sure, but fights nonetheless!

This was quite a bit worse than I remembered but there's still a handful of perfect pop songs.

Oddly enough, I have been revisiting the Lynyrd Skynyrd catalog lately.

I suppose this is obvious to many of you, but it's something I had forgotten after not hearing it for a long time (except in excerpted form during Dazed and Confused): "Tuesday's Gone" is just an amazing song. Love it. I believe it to be as much a Faulkneresque elegy for the Old South as it is a lament about lost love, but that's probably neither here nor there.

I have the three disc boxed set at home and there are a bunch of songs in there that I had no idea about. It's worth checking out.

I would imagine that "America" is at home reading Marx and Engels while celebrating the entire Manic Street Preachers catalog.

Before and after Richey Edwards left the planet.

A throwback from the 60s era. Very talented.

Yes, in this thread and others! :bom: :eye:

I like the album a lot. Bagels also approves. Great old school vibe.

his progression in less than a year from Green Mill -> The Vic -> Chicago Theater is pretty amazing
