I haven't been able to catch the race until now, followed a little on twitter.
I love it when cars go fast, but Texas seems to be...........not real conducive to handling fast cars. Whether it be destroying the tires on stock cars or making the open wheel guys pass out......

I'd be ok with this being a track that loses a date to pick up another short track or road course.

NASCAR should require goodyear to perform their own tests at these tracks, goodyear and NASCAR can split the cost of the test cars.....buy some old chassis off of the smaller teams or something......hire some recent retirees like Mark Martin or Jeff Burton to run them around for a couple hours. Or some truck guys that are looking for track time.
