My God,I log on and nobody is talking about that great Bear victory? I'm not kidding either. Has this place become so preinvolved with blue sigs, personality clashes and silly subject matter(wink, wink) that we can't discuss a Bears MNF victory?

Say what you want about the putrid opponent, but that was a mighty fine game played by our beloved. Cutler was sloppy early which resulted in a pick6 but I felt he would get it together and he did. Alshon made some huge grabs and guys like Zac Miller, (great catch) Marc Mariani & Alton Smith even made contributions. IF the Bears can beat the Rams next Sunday, that sets them up nicely for a Thanksgiving Showdown in Toiletpaper City.

GO BEARS!

I am not sure I am convinced that Alshon did not break the wrong way on that pick 6. Maybe he was pushed that way as they let Charger's corners play touchy feely. Anyone else thing that about the break?

It's because it would have been better if the Bears had lost that game.

I thought the same thing when it happened...especially as they slowed down the replays.

I thought Langford was ok...I don't see him being a real threat to replace Forte long term.

I was waiting for Lamarr Houston to blow his knee out celebrating a sack again...

Robbie Gould doesn't look right.

I thought they played a fine game, and I am assuming the pick 6 was on Cutler but don't know for sure that Alshon didn't break the wrong way. I assume it was because the DB was sitting on the outside. I thought he came back and played well, and the running back looked very good. Nice road win for the Bears.

That was my immediate thought but I didn't get to see a good replay to get a better look. Jay is usually pretty accurate on those type of sideline throws and
that one was off by quite a bit. It was nice to see them pull it together and win. I was impressed with the defense at the very end when San Diego was
trying to tie the game. Where is that D-line play been this year? I'm torn and see Rick's point though. At this point losing would get us a better pick in the
draft.

As I mentioned in my other post, I think it probably was on Cutler as the corner was sitting outside of Alshon which means you have to curl inside, Cutler probably made a bad throw there.

This draft class doesn't seem like the type that has a bunch of game changers early in the 1st round...what the Bears need will be there in the mid-first round...

It looked like an outside curl timing route...I think Alshon was supposed to go towards the sideline...

To me it is a read route based off where the corner is playing, he was outside so Alshon went in, where to me the ball should have been. If he would have been playing inside leverage then it goes out.

Either way they weren't on the same page. Not the same as Cutler throwing it to a lineman in the red zone.

Yes, they are in draft hell which seems ok this year. I am still rooting for them to win, I just don't get too upset about the games they have flittered away because they need so many more
pieces. Feels good that I don't have to hang my head in shame on a Tuesday morning for once. I have been enjoying ribbing my stepson who is a Packer fan and point out that the
Bears flag is flying out in front of the house.

Yeah. Having a top 5 pick sure would suck.

This story is making it's way around the internet:

http://chicago.suntimes.com/sports/7/71 ... cial-aired

When Mike Ditka put on a green and yellow Green Bay Packers sweater for a McDonalds commercial a portion of the Bears fan base almost couldn’t handle it. The ridiculousness of it all was the driving point behind the commercial. However, it may have been Ditka’s shrewdest move ever.

After the commercial first aired, the Packers have gone winless.

The McDonalds ad first made it’s rounds the week of Oct. 26. Since then the previously undefeated Packers have lost to both the Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers, the latter coming most recently.

Given their needs (thinking defense), what would you say is best out there that couldn't be gotten with the 15th pick?

I'd rather they fill a need with what is considered one of the top 5 players in the draft rather than the top 15 players.

However, if they feel they can do that, then moving down from 5 to 15 would help them out very much.

He was very pedestrian like on Saturday, kind of surprised me.

Even if they had a top 5 pick, I could see the Bears trading down to get a couple of picks...like a low 1 and high 2...Pace seems like that type of GM.

Obviously there's 7 rounds in the draft too, so you're not just getting a better pick in the first.

Full disclosure.... whatever team ( Bears or Packers ) wins by the most points, or loses by the fewest points if both teams lose, gets to fly their teams flag out front
of the house. It has been nice having my Bears flag out last week and through this weekend.

Have the Bears lined up with a 4-3-4 defense ever this season?

I don't think I have noticed if they did.
