i'm going to that one, but i've never done any sort of tailgating before. i usually just do metra or CTA and get down there around 1030 and then just walk up to the stadium and get to my seat 30-45mins b4 gametime.... but are you doing some sort of tailgating?

the wife and her best friend are going. the past couple of years they have tailgated with a group, but it isn't happening anymore. so, she asked if I would see if any of you clowns will be at the game.

Tailgating has been the biggest casualty since the renovation. The number of lots and parking size were drastically shrunk. Good time can still be had, but it's not close to what it used to be.

i see what he's doing.... i've technically met miss-in-e.p. at least 2-3 times over the years and without their usual tailgating people they're trying to see if there's another tailgate to get in on. it makes sense cuz holy shit back around 2005 i was invited to a 12pm sunday bears game at the last secnd on a free ticket and i was like YEAH A ROUND WONT BREAK ME.... 2 DOUBLES OF JAMESON AND 2 GUINESS.... and it was like $85 and i was like whoa shit that sucks.

so yeah i get the basic intent here.... seeing if there's a semi-vouchable party going on and trying to avoid $10+/each drink territory elsewhere or in the stadium. lamentably, if i wanted to drink i'd sooner mix a stiff super big gulp for the CTA down....but getting piss/drunk for a bears game is pretty much stupid anyways.

Thought that the Bears gave tailgating privledges to some company...you pay to get in...which isnt bad...but isnt in the spirit of the thing.

I usually go to Kitty Osheas in the Hilton on Michigan Ave. Park in the hotel. Sometimes there for the pregame buffett or just hit Kitty O sheas.

Helps when the weather is shitty as well. somewhere somewhat civilized to attend. yes, most all Bears fans in attendance

Been ticket holders for about 10 years. Tailgating is a big part of why we go. Waiting to see how all the recent Bears PR translates to reality. I am not sure I am ready to ride a shuttle from Michael Reese for the next 20 years.

My cousin is coming in from Bethesda to go to the game. She has been a Skins season ticket holder for years, and we have the family rivalry...I wasn't able to go out there a couple of years ago with the family because I was out of work. The opportunity to buy tickets for this one came up and I took it.
