Mt Carmel shouldn't have been seeded where they were - their playoff points were lowered due to having a forfeit win versus Hales. In reality, they would have likely been higher playing any normal team. That game should have been a semifinal with the winner going to the title game.

When I was at Rockford Auburn, football season usually just meant that basketball season was a couple of months away, so things have changed.

Oh, and Beef A Roo is just 2.2 miles east of the high school, south side of the street, right on Auburn St. Enjoy.

Beef-a-Roo is like the Tim Hortons of Winnebago County; there's one a mile or so away from everywhere.

Is Auburn good this year? I can't believe that. I can't believe any of the public schools are any good. I was supposed to go to Auburn but couldn't stand being bussed across town for an hour to go to the "Academy" program anymore so I followed my true calling and became an E-Rab.

Oh and Guilford still sucks. Probably.

I wanted to buy a shirt with the classic Beef-a-Roo logo when I was in Rfd for an IceHogs game last January. All they had in stock was this enormous blue shirt that said "I <3 Cheese Fries." I was too embarrassed to tell the girl I didn't want it after she went in the back to dig it up for me and that I really wanted one with the classic Beef-a-Roo logo, so I just ate the 15 bucks on the stupid shirt that has no explicit Rockford symbolism. I should do kinda what bigfan does with shirts: give it away to the person who best predicts how many wrong Blackhawks predictions I make in a season.
