You have to think the Big 12 is shut out this year. I can't see any of the undefeated's staying that way through the end of the season schedule - talk about back-loading the power teams. That conference needs to go to two 5 teams divisions and have a championship game.

'Texas' division: Baylor, Texas, TCU, TT and West Virginia (yes they aren't from there but they don't really fit at all in the conference)

North division: KU, KSU, ISU, OU, OSU

Gary Pinkel at Mizzou retiring after the year, says it has nothing to do with this past week or the cancer he was diagnosed with earlier this year. Just wants to spend more time with his family.

I mostly agree with this. No question, especially since the Big 12 is gonna destroy itself again this year.

BUT - you should probably agree with the opinion that Iowa should not move up to the cusp of the P4 with a win over Indiana.
That win did not improve their resume. That move was made for the benefit of the big boys in the B1G, in the case that it was needed.

Michigan should go for two. They just can't stop Indiana's running game.

Baylor WR #4 just had the worst drop in the history of the game of football.

You're not the only one. I was posting here about Leach 4-5 years ago & wanted Illinois to hire him. My good friend IB liked him too.
I love the guy, He's an innovator. One of only a few college head football coaches who never played the game. Also, he is a Lawyer. Also also, he likes pirates alot.

I agreed with this sentiment.

The one downside to his offense is that the QB gets hit more. Meaning they get hurt more.......like tonight

Yea. Falk throws it 60 times per game. I believe he is either #1 or #2 in the NCAA in passing yards.

There is no way he wasn't concussed. His head hit the ground really really hard.

His head bounced at least 12 inches off the ground.
Bad.

I'm disappointed that the defender didn't punch him 3 more times in the face after his concussion though. That would make it more of a sport.

It doesn't matter who they are playing, or what the actual outcome is......

ESPN should always have WSU aster last game of every Saturday night! This is crazy!!

If WMU loses this game I think that Fleck has rowed his boat out of a big job for a couple years.
GOOD JOB taking the point off the board to go for two.

edit: or his "big job" opportunities change from something like a $3M/yr job at a decent school to something cheap at a school in the doldrums.
Like Illinois or something.

The call to go for it might not impress AD's looking for a new HC. Just under 3 minutes left, 3 time outs and you are down by a td and a 2 pt conversion. NIU can go 3 and out with the best of them. I think you have to take the gimmie 3 pts there and play D and get the ball back and go for the winning not tieing TD.

That kick.......my god. Might as well have let the freshman QB kick his 4TH PUNT OF THE FREAKIN GAME.
Seriously. He lined up for the fake/"quick kick" by a freshman QB 3 times tonight. We get it.

But.....good win. Now just win vs Ohio next Tuesday night in arctic conditions and it's to MAC Championship for the 6th year in a row. :D

Their record isn't as good in the past but in some ways it is more impressive.

NIU has kind of transcended the MAC. That is a true program. They lose key guys and plug in new ones who perform equally well. Even the chinless chump Carey can't screw things up. I hope he moves up and on next year.

Great win for Sparty. At OSU. On the road. Without their starting QB. Wow.
