OG should be doing postgame for Rockford Lightning and Jesse should be doing postgame for Gary Railcats. 3rd largest market and we get college radio quality hosts. (Sorry College Radio Hosts)

We get it. You all hate OG and Jesse. Now why don't you do something meaningful with your lives like take an extra shift at Taco Bell.

May I ask why there is so much hate for Jesse Rogers ? Is it because he's friends with Mike North, and probably the only reason he got the opportunity ?

I don't think Rogers is anything more than average. I listened to him last night talking about the Bears, and I didn't come away saying he's the worst I've heard.

Just wondering why all the hate ?

Murph is the worst, but all the burritos seem to like him. I love him.

No, Mr. Oyvey, I'm not OG and never played him on TV. Surprisingly, there are a few people that post on here that don't have a OG fetish. Now, why don't you turn over the burgers before your boss finds out what you do back there.

I don't have as much of a problem w/ OG as some of the people on board. I don't find his voice to be very appealing, but content-wise I think he's okay.

Jesse, on the other hand, is terrible. And it has nothing to do w/ his ties to North. He sucks all by himself.

I don't dislike Rogers on a personal level. I just have ZERO interest in ever hearing his thoughts. On the air, in a forest, wherever. He has no business in front of a microphone.

Let him do his postgame hockey show for the 5 listeners, but do not ruin our Sox experience, by making him the pregame and postgame host.

Score management must realize how rotten and pathetic he is

This is how I compare the two. Jesse has been at the Score for many years ( maybe 10). He was a well-known and talented producer for North and Jiggs. He was then moved on the air with mixed results. I don't happen to think he's that bad while others clearly hate him. That's fine. But at least Jesse (at least in my book) has some credibility, plus he's not an egomaniac.

This OG guy...who the F is he? He's a pre-game show host for a lame duck team. And this guy thinks he's gods gift to radio! Listent to him (if you can stand it) he's so arrogant. His show with Dave Juday on Thanksgiving was the worst thing I have ever heard. I shut it off after the first twenty minutes, and have not listened to 1000 since.

Jesse is much better than the OG. Maybe that's like being called the tallest midget...but so be it!

They are both what children should be, seen but NOT heard. Neither one has talent enough to be anything but last minute fill ins. Both have huge egos based on the mistaken notion that people want to listen to their infantile jibberish. Take away their microphones, they both suck on the air and shouldn't be heard by anyone other than their families.

Regardless of what you think of the OG, he's been in radio for a long time. The guy started at Sporting News Radio back in like 1997. He's not some kid.

Hey Sup,

This is OG's brother from Vegas. I really hate to disappoint you but I'm not the guest who posted that response. Yes I'm reading the board but I haven't posted anything in a couple of months. I've decided to stay out of it (I've got better things to do). Believe whatever the hell you want but stop assuming that every post in support of my brother is from me. I'm sick and tired of it. Let's get one thing straight. I love my brother, I support him 100% and I think he's great at what he does. If you want to slam me for that, go for it.

Decided to stay out of it, yet here you are! Did OG tell ya Silvy and Carm were ripping him on air for his lousy fill in stint after Thanksgiving? How he regaled the audience with tales of his personal life? His nifty new car deal? How he complains no one at the station likes him, the listeners don't like him? Perhaps you can find him a gig in Vegas? Then you could drive him to work, walk him in the building, and make sure he gets to the studio without being teased or given a wedgie............... :x

Hey, wow, this isn't OG or his brother or his car salesman. Unlike you, I just want to have a debate on these boards based on facts and analysis rather than ripping a guy for his eyebrows or because you think he sounds arrogant. I don't have a problem with someone not liking a radio or TV personality (I certainly don't like many, either) but give me details as to why you think he or she sucks, rather than giving me some monosyllabic B.S. Or is that the best you can do?
Also, answer this question: What is so great about Silvy and Carmen? And if you want to make this a gutter fight, then how are OG's eyebrows any different than Carmen's?

The reason I do not like OG is because he is arrogant, amatuerish and has the most disgusting phony radio voice, which makes him the most unlistenable clown in Chicago Sports Radio. Listening to OG for more then 5 minutes is even worse then listening to that North Ass Licker Jesse Rogers.

Just when you think this OG guy can't sink any further..he finds a way to continue his free fall. My critique of OG is nothing personal, it's professional. Maybe if I knew the guy I'd like him off the air...on the air he his terrible. His "I'm so pitiful, please take pity on me" act is so pathetic I cannot listen to him.

I have never seen a radio personality in this town bring on such venom as the OG. I really don't understand it, either. I have read posts stating that he is amateurish and arrogant on the air. I honestly don't find him to be either.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying he's the best in town, but I just don't see where he's any worse than many others currently on the air here.

Look, I agree that he goes a little overboard with his personal stories. I really don't care that much about how his Thanksgiving was, but I still think he's pretty knowledgeable and can be entertaining to listen to.

I also realize that those who don't like him will automatically assume this is either him or his brother. Let me assure that I am neither. I just don't think he, or anyone else, deserves to be ripped the way he has been.

My contacts at the station told me that when OG gets canned after the Bulls run, he has to give his new car back to the dealer.

As a matter of fact, he does have to turn in his car at the end of the season. That's how deals like this work. By the way, he's not getting canned.

I agree. There's no way Ogulnick gets fired at the end of the season. Someone has to do weekend and night time updates. It's like a television show being moved to Saturday nights. Sure, ABC wanted to keep "The Commish" on the air, but not in primetime. Although, it was cancelled after 4 years...so maybe that's not the best comparison. Either way...Ogulnick sucks!!!

So, guest, if he's not being canned is he staying at the station? Is there a better word you would use? If so, enlighten us all.
