Sad thing is , everyday now it puts more thought in my head that while the injuries didnt help. Still wonder what he would have been like? Would his LA'tude slowed his game down, because I sure think so. The guy has changed...and not for the better when it comes to being an athlete. He might...and I stress MIGHT be a better businessman and looking out for his future and his familis future, but that shouldnt change the player...and I think it did.

he is more concerned with his next deal. I think he has been concerned about it almost since the time he signed his mega deal.

Time will tell on this one, but have been saying it for years now. I see LA DR coming without a doubt,

Derrick Rose going to the Lakers would be a perfect coalescence of delusions: the Lakers thinking Rose can play, Rose thinking he can finally get his acting career off the ground.

he sure hasnt budged on his words, even when DIRECTLY asked, "do you love playing for chicago?"

his reply is always "i know who i am"

very lebron before-he-went-to-miami response

but that mvp year, he wasnt just an unguardable player because he made the ball go in the hole... he was unguardable because he always GOT to the rim, which never happens. for that year alone i could see him in the hall of fame, but i understand you really cant put him in for just one year.

he is basketballs bo jackson.

nevermind hes still working on that recovery from 3 years ago

Quote:
"All of it's going to come," Rose said. "It's all about putting your game back together. It's the first time I've had surgery on my face, so that's something different. The depth perception of the rim is a little bit thrown off, so I'm dealing with that. I'm happy with the way I've been working out, getting the most out of every day. I've been going hard."

Why would LA want him?

Rose is done. I'm holding out hope for him but it's obvious he will never be the same player again. He is outplayed by mediocre guys with regularity these days. He is incapable of dominating his position anymore.

He will show flashes from time to time but what makes guys great is the consistency. Kirk Hinrich is currently out playing him. Rose was never particularly skilled. I watched his first varsity level game at Simeon. The elite level athletic ability jumped out immediately. He played mostly on the wing that game. Never really a true point.

I always thought his game would suffer tremendously once his athletic ability began to wane. It would affect him much more than most. I think that's what's happening now.

i just think he took steroids in high school and it caused his body to become brittle and doctors have told him taking them again will only make it worse so hes trying to play without drugs.

I was surprised to find that Bob McAdoo was in the HOF.

I just don't see why L.A. would want him, he's soft mentally n physically.. His best days are behind him. He's not a top 10 p.g. .. He's untradeable now and 18 months from now when he's a F.A. I just don't see him even starting to be honest.

Also, if the Lakers are going to continue to be the one team that doesn't believe in maximizing three-point shooting, then I guess Rose would be an okay fit for their dying star of a franchise.
