Last night Laurence Wilberforce Ptolemy Xander Cristobal Holmes IV was doing a fantasy/general NFL segment with Joe O. Despite being well produced and providing information, it was extremely inorganic and boring. One of the most unnatural conversations I've heard on the radio in awhile. "Meh" would be the perfect adjective for Larry's show.

p.s. that one time when jen lada yadda yadda yadda'd a crusading bernstein (tweeting some SOCJUS/ish thing about how terrible KANERRRRR or some other punching-bag/target was) by going "yeah i know, i'm trying to watch the game here" totally made my internet life. if i was hosting @midnight i'd declare her the winner of the internet for that one.

personally i'd go lada > scott tho i do have to admit that i find lada's default "smile for the camera" smile kind of creepy and vacant. click here if you wanna see the smile that i'm talking about.

also, from what little i know about jen lada i think she has a nice niche going on in the (chicago? national?) sports media world:

1) she's a woman
2) she has thoughts
3) if she doesn't naturally know about sports it seems like she's trying to learn
4) she doesn't seem to have any sort of social/agenda/s to push. she's just here to talk about sports.
5) did i mention that she doesn't seem to have a chip on her shoulder like she's personally dragging the world out of the dark ages by another inch or two with each tweet/article/report/story/etc.
6) oh yeah and she's technically pretty darn good looking, tho that doesn't really matter (cuz who here has ever needed a boner to appreciate what peggy kuscinski does?) but it certainly doesn't hurt.

plus with her you know that bernstein dreams of a parallel universe where an evil dan isn't paragon to all that's good and right and moral in the world so he can use his lofty FOTS/media-maven status to amaze miss lada and then use that power to get her into the sack where he can flip that vintage sox hat sideways and show us why he was the fucking president of the beta omega omega fraternity during his dukie days. i think she's got the total package for an ideal bernsteinian jumpoff, but alas.... our universe's dan bernstein fights on the side of the angels like mannix b4 him.

Lawrence is a reeeeeally complicated brother. On the one hand, he's got hot takes on violence (i.e. #blacklivesmatter, #sanbernardino, #PP)...on the other hand, he'll beat your ass in an elevator if you look at him wrong. My guy!
