We've had a make-shift O-line since Cutler got here, and yesterday he gets sacked three times. Grassu is getting thrown around like a rag-doll, while Long is clearly struggling at RT.

We need a complete rebuild of the line. Slauson should be the center. Bears have played well when he has. Move Long back to RG. In the offseason, they need to sign or draft RT and LT.

I wonder how much better Cutler would do if he had a real O-line. While he could have played better yesterday, it wasn't completely his fault.

Long is like a bullfighter at RT with his o-lay blocks, as Cutler gets blindsided. It's inexcusable.

Agree on Long but disagree on Slauson. I think they need to draft a RT fairly early.

Cutler is having a career best year as far as passer rating with this make-shift line. While I have been hard on him of late, I would give him one more year if they upgraded the line, because I think he would be that much better in the Gase offense in year two. But they need to keep Jeffrey and Forte. If they make these changes and get White on the field next year, Cutler could be very dangerous.

Forte can't be asking for big money if his yrds/carry is less than 4? Who would be a taker?

I think it all depends on Jeffery. Hopefully they can come to an agreement and not franchise him. I would then franchise Forte. Give him a nice payday but only oblige yourself to one year.
