Are awful, to nobody's surprise. Bossman got some for us today (among other things), and good lord were they bad. The breading sucked, the cheese was probably not cheese, and the "sauce" was somewhere between plain tomato paste and watered down ketchup.

So yeah, skip these.

I saw those when I stopped for my iced coffee the other day. McDonald's couldn't do "savory" if you stuck a gun up Ray Kroc's ass. They can do "breakfast" well enough to get me to part with $3, and they can do "5-year-old." And their fake ice cream cones are not horrible if you just want something mock-dairy and are too lazy to get out of the car and go into a Speedway and get a yogurt.

Dont even know if they still sell the oversized burgers there, dont know what they called them, but its the only thing I have consumed there outside of the simpelton breakfast snack that was something I would ever order again.

Once again, McDonalds #1 reason people get food from them is "Convenience" and then "Familiarity", you know what you want, how much it will be and how fast you will get it. Its why they have timers on every order, they try to make it into a sport how quickly they can serve you and get you out. Learned that all at Community College, OCC!

That would be me. And now they have it all day long, so if you really need to get 380 calories into your system without getting out of your car in the rain or snow and while only spending $1.10, the Sausage McMuffin is just acceptable enough to not make you want to drive your car into the back of a semi.

Yet, somehow, it actually gets worse every year. Seven or eight years ago, they nerfed the coating on the hash browns. Sometime in the last year, they made the english muffin even more like a cardboard one that you'd find in a Super 8 in Butte, Montana.
