I might be confusing him with Mike Esposito, but I don't think Esposito is that much of a dick.

Mark Grote is now the pre/post host for Cubs radio. Before that, he did scoreboards for Mully and Hanley and did Saturday mornings with Rosenbloom after Brian Paruch left. Grote was the one who brought in all the "wake and bake"/"our show sucks" shtick. He's known for being a humble and agreeable guy, which by WSCR-2015 standards makes him practically eligible for sainthood.

Grote will be fine. Dicaro, may surprisingly be fine, but I won't be listening. Although I'd guess Grote isn't thrilled his chance to do afternoon drive nets him Dicaro in the chair next to him.

It will definitely be Cubs heavy. If you want to talk football you're probably watching the games. Actually if you want to talk anything you're probably starting your NewYears plans, and thus why they're getting this shot today.

It could be a good listen unless they think mundane slices of life is a route to take. Doesn't work for Flounder and Pounder and based on the DiCaro Tweeter wouldn't be very interesting in their case either.

I'm sure she'll be thanked by somebody for her courageous stand against the rape culture.

It will be literally impossible for me to avoid this show any more than I'm going to.
