So, which is worse: the offense, or the defense? I truly think it's a tough call. They're both the same: they'll look good, and you think they've turned a corner, and all of a sudden, they'll to a total about-face.

This defense just got shredded by a garbage team's backup QB. They should all donate their paychecks to charity this week.

And I've fucking had it with the goddamn zone defense. Motherfucking line can't get a lick of pressure on the QB, and yet they're back there playing the zone, just watching as 15-yard completion after 15-yard completion is made.

Guess I should be glad they lost; ultimately, they just positioned themselves to get a better pick than the Redskins; but do they have to do it in such irritating fashion?

One last thing: Hester needs to be in on at least half of the offensive plays, or not at all.

Yeah, other than the fact that they were averaging the 35 yard line on kickoffs, totally worthless. Special teams is 1/3 of the game, and Hester gives you great field position at worst, and the potential to score multiple touchdowns at best. And that's assuming he never is able to do anything other than special teams. If any other returner in football is in instead of Hester, the Bears would struggle with field position on top of their ineptitude on offense. Hester's impact on a game is considerable even if he doesn't touch the ball; that's incredible.
