a caller had a good dig at Levine this morning, i was hoping it might have been one of you fine folks. In regards to Cespedes and Lawrie, Levine was revealing from his sources that any rumors of there being clubhouse issues with the two of them and why they are moved so much - cespedes, more so - that there is no truth to that (according to his sources). The caller immediately went at him. To paraphrase, "how is it that any time your sources have inside info on a guy, it always ends up being that these guys are perfect without any issues, and yet theres as many if not more sources around the league who say that these guys are jerkoffs?"

Levine attempted to foul the pitch off, but couldnt catch up with that heat.

I will always remember his backing to Milton Bradley as a changed man because Jim Hendry had a conversation with him.

That's not uncommon for beat guys to think a bad player will suddenly become good. That's every spring training or training camp article.

No, but Bruce is usually an asshole about it and speaks in absolutes.

He scoffed at people who suggested the traditionally insane Bradley was still....insane

I don't mean a changed baseball player, I mean a changed person.

Every Saturday I hear Bruce pronounce Yoenis Cespedes as "Ces-SPADE-eez", and wonder whether he is the only one saying it right or if he's dyslexic with the diacritical marks.

Levine is a fucking idiot. He always pronounces Scott Boras as "Boros." I've never once heard anyone else make that mistake. It ends in "-as, not -os," dipshit.

Agreed - for the most part, these articles are about a players performance improving. My memory could be mistaken, but I think there have been some local examples of a players changing for the better (or hopeful) like Patrick Kane, Jay Cutler and Brandon Marshall.

I will always remember him being an ass kissing apologist for Dusty Baker, when he was on his way out of town.

50?? Levine Line is in mid season form.

Sozes obsession is in spring training form.
