Is he really that bad? The few times I've watched him play I thought he looked decent. Not future a HoF'er or cant miss prospect, but decent.

He's Jay Cutler 2.0 - just with less accuracy and no mobility and he does all those things that every loathe's about Cutler (body language, terrible throws, probably won't vaccinate his kids).

That's the thing. He got worse each year in college. Some blame the coaching (Hackenberg himself openly despised the HC), but he's the one making the terrible throws. Then look at everyone around him in disgust. He also held on to the ball too long, another Cutler like trait.

If I'm a Bear fan looking for a stopgap & possible replacement on the cheap, I'm looking to Aaron Murray of the Chiefs. The kid was great at UGA, but blew out a knee & has been understudying in KC for the past couple of years. I'd trust that Andy Reid gave him a pretty good lesson in pro football...but couldn't play him ahead of the the big ticket goof from Utah.

Hackenburg reminds me of Jake Locker, he's never been good but everybody hypes him up about playing on Sundays..I wouldn't waste a 6th round pick on either.
