My Dear Internet Friends,
I am looking forward to tonight's game. My sources have told me that Hinrich might not start tonight and if he does, plays 16 minutes tops. Rasheed Wallace is going to run 35 points off against the Bull tonight. I am definately looking at a double digit point difference. Pistons 102-86.
Your Dear Internet Friend,
Evil J.A.C.K.

Wallace 6 out of his last 6 free throws going into halftime. Bulls still shooting very bad, Pistons are letting them hang in their.

ESPN has the game if you want to watch it in HD. Comcast doesn't have HD for road games.

It's in HD tonight on Comcast; however, the ESPN feed is much crisper.

Still, the Booyah analyst team has nothing on Dore, Red and Stacey.

You might be watching the HD channel on comcast but that's not HD. They don't broadcast in HD for road games.

I stand corrected. I just flipped on Comcast. It is in HD. I never even went there cuz I thought ESPN was the only one that would have it.

But you're right. ESPN is much better quality.

Nocioni looked great again tonight (last two wins don't happen if he's not on the floor, sorry B&B). Hinrich was getting abused on defense by Hamilton.

The team generally plays to its competition and always plays Detroit well but I won't begin to change my pessimism until they beat Boston tomorrow. Nice win tonight, though.

Won 4 out of last 5. Looking like last years team. Be nice to beat Boston and get back to back wins over the 2 best teams in the East.

Being up in Michigan I don't get the Chicago local channels so it was Van Gundy for me. He wasn't too bad, very honest on both sides.

Would it be too burrito for a 6'1" white guy in his early thirties to rock a bowtie?

I'll tell you what, I'm now of the mind that I'd be very upset if the Bulls traded Nocioni. I've always liked Nocioni, but I think at the end of last season where he was struggling through injury, I let myself under-value him. I became sympathetic to the idea of Nocioni being trade-bait. But his recent play has reminded me how much I like this guy. It's impossible not to admire him: he's no better than average in terms of raw talent, but his will to win is on par with the best. The man doesn't have a timid bone in his body. Whereas others Bulls players may have more talent, I don't think you could argue that any of them are close to Nocioni in terms of, for lack of better terms, will and courage. His effort adds so many little things to the game (not least of which is upsetting the opposing team's players). Plus, he's just a pretty damn good player.

Not at all. Just say you are starting the white guy branch of the Nation of Islam.

Great points. At some point, I hope Tyrus will be able to perform as the kind of catalyst Nocioni currently is--except with a higher skill level and far superior athleticism. Who knows if that day will ever come, though. Right now, Nocioni seems to be the "x" factor for da Bull.

This was by far the best the Bulls have looked this season. I will agree with MattInTheCrown about Nocioni. I don't want to lose this guy. The guy hustles too hard. I loved the effort and I'm looking forward to seeing what they do against Boston.

So you're looking forward to seeing them get embarrassed?

If the right offer came along, with his play they just might be able to parlay that into getting the closer they would need.

The problem with Tyrus is between his ears. I think his athleticism let him skate by at LSU but in the NBA you need to understand your assignments and where to be on the court. Until he can do that, he will be sitting behind Noah. As much of a clown as he looks, Noah is a smart basketball player and has as much hustle as Tyrus. Something to be said about staying in school longer than one year.

Noah is playing well, and seems to make an impact with his rebounding and his activity. He just seems to be more consistently involved out there than Thomas, who shows off his freakish athletic ability here and there, but definitely not game to game.

Right now, we aren't blessed with any low post scorers on this team so what big men we do have, really need to play defense and rebound, and I'm pretty happy with Noah so far in that regard.
