I differ with you on Harden. I will acknowledge his lack of defense, but Steph Curry is every bit as worst a defender as Harden. Houston made it to the conf. Finals with him as #1 scorer. The Bulls couldn't beat a depleted Cleveland team with Butler as the man and they struggled against a mediocre Milwaukee team.

Rockets were a good/great team last year and he was a legit #1. Butler is still improving so I can see an argument for taking him over Harden, but Harden is a great basketball player. And Im not one to overvalue one dimensional scorers unless it's Allen Iverson.

Butler wasn't the man last year. Rose was going 1 for 11 and turning the ball over at an alarming rate. With Gasol and Butler as the 1-2 punch the Bulls still have a shot. Especially if Noah is used correctly.

I think he was in most fans eyes. He is the man when the Bulls win and Rose/Gasol are co-goats when they lose. That's been the pattern. I appreciate Butler because he plays hard and he defends as well as scores. If he is your best player then you're not going anywhere. The notion that everyone should step aside for Jimmy Buckets is flawed logic.

The Bulls beat OKC twice, San Antonio, and Cleveland with Rose in the lineup. They collapsed the other night once he got injured. They barely beat the worst team in the league last night without him. He really isn't hurting the team.

They're 6-1 without Rose. Rose isn't in the same class as Gasol or Noah when it comes to how valuable they are to the team.
