Gurnee is a suburb of Chicago, the DMZ goes up to Wisconsin Highway 50 connecting LG and Kenosha, but the southern border slopes down as you go west of the lake, i.e., Gurnee is firmly suburban despite being north of Lakemoor, which is firmly DMZ.
