I have it like this:

1. Dirk Nowitzki (Still at this age)
2. JJ Redick
3. Kevin Love
4. Kristaps Porzingis
5. Marcin Gortat
6. Chandler Parsons

This is the first time in 5+ years I think you can safely say it's no longer Steve Nash. I couldn't really decide on the 4th and 5th spots, so I just made a top 6. The top three should probably be in a separate tier of their own. Who ya got?

You do realize Nash has not played since the 13-14 season?

It has been Dirk for awhile.

Yeah but he attempted a comeback and was still under salary in 2015. :D

you're forgetting Gordon Hayward, but I'm starting to think this was less a serious exercise and more reason to make fun of Kevin Love.

Dammit, I forgot about him. I like him. Utah Jazz are probably the least watched team in the NBA.

Actually I'd put Hayward #2 behind Dirk. Everyone moves a spot down.

Nah, Mormons love basketball because they all have their little Mormon rec leagues. Probably the Bucks, Kings, or Timberwolves.

I hate these topics. Dividing races. I hate race talk in general as you all know. We're all one people. We're all humans. These type of discussions only serve to devolve us.

I hope one day my eventual illegitimate children will live in a world where such discussions are no more.

There are a bunch in front of Parsons. Pau is one.

At least in my opinion, we hear more about the Bucks because of the Greek Freak, and Jabari Parker.

Kings because of Boogie.

and the T'Wolves because of KAT, Garnett, and Wiggins.

We may have to go to the ratings finder for this. :D

Change the list to White American born players. More challenging.

Remember the guy who wanted to start an American Whites-only league and specifically named Dirk and Steve Nash as examples?

Maybe having Gus Johnson call the games has turned things around, but I'm pretty sure the Bucks were dead last in local ratings the last few years. They're a team I could have stood to see go away if not for how good they were in the '70s and '80s. Sharing the city with Marquette and the state with UW, all while generally being bad, makes them redundant to Milwaukee sports.

Me too...and Spanish people are mostly "white."

Hispanics / latinos being darker skinned is a western hemisphere thing...from when they sampled the local cuisine, I think.

This is the Prime Minster of Spain:

He looks like a Republican candidate. He makes Rubio and Cruz look like some street vendors out of Torreon.

I don't think Pau and Marc qualify as "white". I honestly don't know though. Hopefully they cover this during Whiteness History Month.

And  @ spmack's parody thread being taken seriously.

FavreFan...you like using Wikipedia as a source, right?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_people

Quote:
White people is a racial classification, typically designating European ancestry or the Caucasian race. The contemporary usage of "white people" or a "white race" as a large group of (mainly European) populations contrasting with "black", American Indian, "colored" or non-white originates in the 17th century.

Oh, I'm not worried about what is officially being said about Gurnee. I don't consider it a suburb, the same way I don't consider Plano a suburb, or Dekalb a suburb, or Kankakee a suburb.

I remember going to Puerto Rico and I expected everyone to look like the Puerto Ricans we mainly see here. I was surprised to see that many were as dark as me (like Carlos Delgado for example) and many were white....and they said that the racism there is the similar to here in which the white PR's get better treatment.

I think that is the same for much of central and south america.

Porzingis has been a more valuable player for the knicks this season than Love has been for the Cavs. He's also already a far better defensive player.

I've heard that Argentina and Brazil are ruthless about their continuum of skin color.

I think you've all read the thread title incorrectly. It's best white player

Do mixed races count? I'll start with Humphries. Would have gone with Dirk but he recently tied the knot.
