I thought about that too. I'm not going to take the leap of faith here needed to assume this story is 100% factual. Nor am I prepared to dismiss it. But that part of the story really bothers me. Sure, there are fans/groupies of athletes and rock stars that are perfectly willing to be used. But after a friend has been violated, to have such a lack of empathy is difficult to imagine. Either that story is fabricated or she needs to choose her friends more wisely. Of course, the fact that Kane allegedly said "just you, not your friend" suggests that the friend might not be as attractive. So for her, a roll with Kane might be a monumental achievement. She may have lacked the self esteem needed to decline Kane's offer of sexual escapades. It would not shock me if it were true, having heard so many tales of Kane's drunken trips around Chicago, Buffalo and Madison, Wisconsin. Wouldn't shock me if this particular story is fiction either.
