Perrera is 10x better on ref shit than Mike Carey, but Carey couldn't be any less insightful, so that doesn't mean much.

What's puzzling about how bad Carey is on TV is that I recall him being far and away one of the better officials when he was an active ref.

He was pretty good as a ref, yeah. How he gives worse explanations in the booth than on the field is beyond me.

That's the 2nd guy on his own team Keuchly has gone helmet to helmet on. Panthers may run out of guys on D at this point.
