Lou Canellis, what a f'ng moron. Only the score could put this fool on the air. He's ranting about an article in the Trib that he hasn't even read. He's got the whole thing wrong and just keeps on with his useless big mouth. What a loser. No wonder he can't get a regular job.

I consider Canellis more of an entertainment reporter who does fill in work on sports shows to pay the bills. Expect to be getting a heaping helping of C team hosts during the holiday season.

I am not a Canellis apoligist, but to say he can't get a regular job is entirely untrue. The guy has been hosting Sports Page on CLTV for many years - while this would not be considered the pinnacle of sports journalism, it is a job and he has had it for some time. In addition, the guy has been doing his crap 190 North segments as well.

Considering all the bad that Chicago sports radio has to offer, and the few times I have listened to Lou on 670, I don't think he is too bad. Of course, I probably have never listened to him for more than 15 or 20 minutes in one sitting, since I'm usually in and out of the car on weekends. Sit me in front of a radio for an entire show, maybe my opinion would change.

It did sound like Laurence got testy with him on Saturday's show, when it came to Cubs talk. Laurence wanted to talk about the Bears.

Lou could have bought the paper and read the article before spending all that time yelling about something that wasn't written.
