I just got an email "FROM THE DESK OF TED PHILLIPS" telling me they reduced the list price of pre-season games by 40% but increased the regular season games each by 10% resulting in no net change in price for the season tickets... All this does is in the future when they increase ticket prices they can "have better optics" by keeping the pre-season games at a reduced rate while increasing only the regular season games. Because the common complaint is why am I paying full price for pre-season games... so the bears respond with a shell game which in the end gets them the same amount of $$ from us. Kind of amusing

Exactly, they should triple the price of tickets.

It did. He's saying they changed it this year. Same overall price for the package. Cuz you have to buy all 10 games to be a season ticket holder. They just cut pre season 40% and raised regular season games 10%

In the smallest stadium in the NFL, that they rent and own very few of the other income streams

Not a fan of this move. I generally donate the preseason tickets back to the bears' charity. I will now get a lesser deduction on my taxes :(
