It seems that the committee worked hard to try and make sure that OU and Alabama face off in the national championship and not in the first round.

I don't think MSU can hang with Bama and I don't think Clemson can beat OU.

Oklahoma beat Alabama in a bowl a couple of years ago and this OU team is better, and this Bama team is worse. Of course Saban will likely win anyways.

UW Whitewater @ Mt. Union today in a semifinal of the D3 championship. These 2 have never played anywhere other that at the Championship site (which they have done virtually every year but 1 in the last decade). UWW lost a game during the regular season so that is why they are playing on the same side of the bracket this year. I kind of hope UWW wins. They actually play opponents during the regular season. Mt. Union plays in such a horseshit conference their starters have probably never seen a 3rd quarter. I saw in a few game earlier this year that in the 3q they were running out of bounds an attempting 1st own field goals to not run up the score.

Ole Miss has reportedly been charged with 30 NCAA violations across three sports -- football, women's basketball and track and field -- according to Yahoo! Sports' Pat Forde.

It is not known the breakdown of violations by sport, but according to ESPN's Joe Schad the majority of the violations are not associated with football and those that are predate the current coaching staff.

Fox Sports' Bruce Feldman reports that most of the infractions involving Hugh Freeze's staff are about the Laremy Tunsil incident that he already sat out seven games for.

Ole Miss athletic director Ross Bjork released a statement regarding the violations.

"As has been the case for the past three years, we are bound by confidentiality and cannot comment publicly on the matter," said Bjork. "However, I can say that I'm confident in how our coaches and staff operate our program, and we take compliance, NCAA and SEC rules very seriously. We are working hard to seek a resolution to this matter."

The school will have 90 days to respond to the allegations and then the case will either be resolved by summary disposition or be heard by the Committee on Infractions at a hearing.
