Saw it on Check Please and decided to check it out a couple weeks ago.

Really really good. The little bar in bar in back is a nice touch...even if I don't match the hipster profile they apparently cater to.

Probably the best I've had. Can't speak for Harold and Remus.

Harolds....Pffffttttt

Popeyes doesnt get the due it deserves due to Fast Food category, but they prepare the chicken before the fry better than most places in the over night tumbler with spices.

I was not a big fan of the Harold's in Naperville (or Aurora...whatever town that is).

Shake & Bake quality

Popeye's chicken is indeed extremely juicy.

Stained one of my Hart Schaffner & Marx suitjackets when I tried to eat it in the car between meetings a few months ago.

At least it wasn't an Italian suit.

Last weekend I had some of that Nashville Hot Chicken they have at KFC now.

It wasn't awful. Better than their regular chicken.

Yep, this place is great. I've been touting it here for a couple years.

Best take out service I've ever experienced. You order and pay online and then you get a text message two seconds later telling you that your food will be ready in 13 minutes (sometimes even less). I hop in the car and drive the half mile up Elston, hop out and walk past the line of people and go straight to the back where they hand you your food and out the door you go.

Chicken with the honey butter on it is great. Same with the corn bread. Pretty much all the sides there are forgettable. The Pimento mac n cheese is pretty good I guess.

As for Popeyes, my wife loves the place. I'm not much of a fried chicken eater so I haven't tried it, only keeping my chicken eating to HBC.

If you're in the area you should check out Roost Carolina Kitchen on Irving Park just east of Ashland.

http://www.theroostcarolinakitchen.com/

They specialize in Nashiville hot fried chicken that comes served on a really good homemade biscuit.

Not bad, very expensive, small portion, takes a long time to prepare...

Kountry Club in Wrigleyville, good Hot Nash Chicken Sammie

I was just by Honey Butter on Saturday at Chief O'Neil's.

I cannot stress strongly enough that Chief O'Neil's sucks for anything but brunch and drinking.

I love Art of Pizza. My favorite back in the day. Hope they still have the corn-meal crust.

I think the guy who owns Mother Cluckers just died. Is it staying open?
