It's been a while, but one of the best one's I've had was at the Irish Mill in Mundelein.

Post them here if you know of a good one. I would prefer ones that don't use the cookie cutter, pre breaded filets that the restaurant just drops in a fryer.
Conveniently located near the RR tracks in Brookfield.

Chuck's Darien is not nearly as good as Chuck's Burbank, but it's a lot closer to me. But regardless, I wouldn't eat fish there. Especially not buffet fish.

Chuck's is for soup, mexican appetizers, and a decent beer list.

It's good, reasonably priced, and helpful to others.

Woody's in lovely downtown Stevensville, MI hosted a fine fish fry this past Friday night, including $4 pitchers of Miller Light. All-you-care-to-eat pollock fillets (real fishes, not trapezoid trout) $8.95. A couple of nearby young'ns disturbed the adult conversation, but were cute...
