(It's a riff on that song by Lipps Inc - pronounced like "lip sync" btw - and they were out of Minneapolis. Not as smooth as CH but too bad; at least you honkeys are now aware of a tiny bit of R&B trivia.)

That's game. Wild are doing their annual dig-themselves-out-of-their-own-hole February/March run.

It's two goals. I'm not quite ready to give up.

The Hawks always lose these games. The conditions of playing outside go against their style of play. The only reason they beat the Penguins is because the Penguins play an even more finesse style than the Hawks.

Ah, and the brilliance of the crowd comes to the fore with the ever original 'Crawford' chant.

Flopping should be penalized.

New rule. You're not allowed to be within 10 feet of the goalie when you have the puck.

It is, but generally only as coincidental minors. Think of it as Patrick Kane's rape allegations being false but still getting convicted because it seems like the kind of thing he would do.

I knew all about Lipps, Inc., by the way. Gotta love that Minneapolis Sound. I think I used "Funkytown" for a Wild thread once. Rotation was generally Prince, Replacements, Dylan, and Husker Du, but I'm sure I got that one in there.

Someone should tell Julie so she realizes this indeed is her NHL.

Well, the offense finally starts to look awake, then a wraparound penalty.

Waiting for the inevitable TMMOTI at the end of the second, but hopefully after a tie score :drunken:

If there's anything worse than Cheap Trick, it's old Cheap Trick live outside in terrible conditions.

Ye gods.

Might as well just permanently put them on the power play. That would have been GT interference if it were on the other end of the ice.

They just need to not get anyone hurt in this 3rd period. They are going to try to out shithead Rozsi and destroy someone on the 2nd line.

There was this game, the Florida game, the Carolina game, the first Dallas game. There have been a lot of low points this year.
