Talking is already a thing of the past...eveything is mobile, thus better connections are needed

And here comes Google?

$20 unlimited talk and text...because they know that takes nothing in terms of data...

$10 for 2 Gig and then pay as you go

I am happy with Verizon, but they are fucking damn expensive...

google buys chunks of data from various carriers

has software the switches between towers of the various carriers automatically

sometimes it doesnt work right

just get cricket. $40 a month and its all ATT. 2GB data and unlimited slow data after that

google also attempting to ad-hoc cellular data between peoples phones, which is a cool idea but will never be reliable... although it will be better than nothing when youre in places that dont have any signal

It's $20 for call and text then $10 per GB of data... you pay for the exact amount of data you use... so if you use 1.5GB of data your bill would be $20+$15 for the data. basically, if you have ability to sit on wifi most of the day project fi makes a lot of sense. If you are a heavy data user, then it does not. you can typically go in to settings on your current phone to see how much data you are using.

also, right now the only phones that are compatable are the nexus 6, nexus 5x and nexus 6p. Last month I picked up a nexus 6 for $250 from amazon to give me the ability to move to fi when my contract expires. otherwise the 5x is $350 and the 6p is $500

a friend of mine switched to Fi and he said it has been working well for him.
