I think we'd have to define what we mean by "best shooter." No matter the criteria, though, he's in the conversation for all of them.

i think that defines it right there

its like saying jordan wasnt the best player ever. he was. doesnt mean he had the best stats in every category, but he won. a shitload of times.

curry has to string together a couple more seasons of this to really claim the best shooter ever title, but i think we can say he probably has it because theres no reason he will drop off. hes got a good head on his shoulders, hes not taking roids, and what he does can be continued late into his career.

Beyond his quick release, Curry also doesn't even need to set up. Last night, he was dribbling parallel to the baseline toward the sideline, and he basically just flipped a three over his shoulder without even setting himself. He drilled it. How the hell do you guard that?
