Has anyone actually seen Lovie move on the sidelines? Get in a huddle with his players for some last minute or on the spot coaching? I believe he has a pair of cement shoes on the sidelines that never move once he's inside.
And another thing, are those headphones from the 70's that he wears really on?

They are ON. Hooked up to his ipod with this CD on it. He got it from that dopey Tibetan monk in Comcast commercials.

This means Lovie doesn't have the fire and in order to be a good coach you have to get in the face of your players. Did Lovie look at the pictures with Rex? It's strange how Lovie didn't do this the past 2 years but was a successful coach.

I never really gave it any thought until I saw Belichick of the Pats two weeks ago. He had the offense and the defense in a huddle at various times during that Ravens game. That's when I started noticing Lovie along the sideline and just how much input does he give his coaches and players during a game? And he never has a ready answer after a game as to why....we didn't give the ball to Benson more?......run more of the no huddle?

Belichick is just telling them stories on the times he would cheat on his now ex-wife.

Lovie has his good and bad points. His game time interaction... bad. His half time adjustments... real bad.

Intensity does not always equal good coaching. I think Lovie is a fine coach. I do believe there are other reasons people are being so critical of him.... maybe the same reason people are calling for Kenny Williams job two seasons removed from a World Series victory.

And what was that "good" point again?

Lovie's intensity or lack thereof is not in question! Just wondering does he make gametime adjustments in real time? There is more to coaching than just printing out the gameplan on Saturday and following it by the book! Now that the season is over, this would be a good time to watch things we normally wouldn't watch. Especially on the sidelines.

Don't you dare try that.
