Now, I'll admit, I don't have any black friends either. But not because of lack of effort. I've tried to make friends but they hate me much like white women for some unknown reason. Like white women, right from the start, black people want nothing to do with me and make sure I know it.

That's why I was hoping Goff would invite me to his "Crib" to hang out. I want to be his friend. But, no invite as of yet. Sadly, I don't expect one.

I understood the context. At worst, his comments were a little ignorant. But they were CLEARLY not malicious in any way, unlike Goff's response to Eaton. And really, there are a lot of people of all ethnic backgrounds who share his views and are just tired of race being talked about constantly. I understand the need for it to be addressed as often as it is, but I'm also not going to kill a guy who doesn't understand that. This is that Julie Dicaro-ish form of SJW where if you don't fall exactly in line with a worldview you are a BAD PERSON.

They were ignorant comments by Eaton. But didn't deserve a "Fucking clown" tweet from Goff. Because it wasn't mean spirited. Goff was just one of those twitter guys that were looking for an opportunity to be outraged.

Light skin brothers would be absolutely justified to call Goff a "Fucking Clown" on twitter for what he says about them. That would be justified outrage.

That's not the same thing. Goff doesn't come across as racist or disliking of white people at all, IMO. I don't listen a lot though. He just overreacted by a very large degree here, in sort of a weird way.

There was zero wrong with tweet other than it being an oversimplification. If I read that tweet out of context, I would have thought it was a quote from Bill Walton at a peace rally in the 60's.

I only catch at the most 10-15 minutes a day and haven't noticed him mention race very often, and not in the type of tone where I would think he has a problem with white people. Also, "hangups regarding race" is a lot different than "most racist person I've ever heard". That's quite the walking back from a statement there.
