Yep...Sally played for them at some point. My last game thread post vs. the Blazers had ZERO comments. It seems that you guys have all lost faith in the team. But remember: Miro, Rose and Buckets will return...we will make the playoffs and compete at a high level.

I'm not shoveling shit here; I truly believe it. The Cavs are not a dominate force anymore; too many egos. The Raptors, on the other hand are getting it together. We will too.

Boshe is out, Joe Jackson playing his 1st home game in his new city. That means he will play out of his old ass along with the resurgent D Wade. This game might be ugly.

This team blows.

Can't wait until next year when there's two D-League teams in town.

Team defense really is embarrassing this year. I'm waiting for them to eventually give up 150 in regulation in a game.

And now Taj is out hurt. Whether it's an hour, a day, or a month, who knows.

Iowa's gotta be looking like Shangri-La at this point to Fred.

There are summer league teams that can beat the lineup that the Bulls currently have on the floor. I'm of a mindset now where I want to see them out of the playoffs. Go into the lottery get a top 12 pick plus Sac. Pick hopefully and go from there. It's time to abort mission on this season. Whenever guys start dropping like this it means they are bailing on the season. It has that look now. It's about time for Gasol to go down now.

It would truly be dumb luck if Rose happens to be the only guy "healthy" of all the core guys by season's end. I want to see them miss the playoffs so that they can get a higher draft pick.

I like playoff basketball. Anything can happen and not a huge difference between the 12th and 15th pick.

Portis is pretty good. He deserves more minutes.

8th seed first round sweep is not anything great. Might be able to find something in the draft at 11 or 12. Myles Turner went 11. So did McDermott. You are not getting much at 15 or 16. This will be another first round flameout if they make it. Don't want to see that again.

I'm starting to be of the thinking that it may be time for GarPax to roll too.

Paxson isn't going anywhere but Gar has to go. They screwed the roster up and set this team back 3 or 4 years or more. Hoiberg has to wish he didn't take the job because they've fucked him with the roster and assistant coaches.

@KCJHoop Hoiberg: "We play harder defensively in practice. We get deflated when adversity hits."

I think adversity in this case probably refers to having to play teams a bit more competent at offense than the Bulls second unit.

Even the lads in studio on CSN after the game made the comparison.

At least Portis shows a little hustle out there. what a clusterfuck. The defense is so bad McDermott looked solid on D compared to others...Rose, Brooks, Dunleavy, Gasol...holy crap. Those guys couldn't guard a sloth in a zoo cage.

The Bulls can scheme all they want but the fact is that they have weak defenders. Gasol is bad. Dunleavy, McDermott, and Brooks are horrible, Rose is below avg. And so is Portis. Gibson is solid but not as good as he was a few yrs ago Defensively. Snell is avg. defensively. Moore is avg at best but he appears to foul alot

They are not going to win games by stopping people.

Hoiberg is a joke and a failure. He's a more media-savvy Trestman.

They are going to have score about 105 to 112 points per game. The guys that they are running out there now are NBA castoffs. Hoi berg may not be a good coach but anyone that attempts to judge him based on this collection of talent doesn't know basketball. There is a reason that guys like Moore, Brooks, and Holiday had 1 foot out the league once the Bulls signed them. Mike Dunleavy isn't much more than a serviceable backup at this stage and so is Taj Gibson. Tony Snell is a flop. McDermott is beginning to show that he can play in the league though.

It's not just that they are bad defenders. They are also bad players. This was not the team that was thought to be 2nd best in the East, yet people are bashing Hoiberg as if it is.

He may be a bad coach, but its difficult to know it based upon the current configuration of talent.

They were two games away from the ECF last year. Now you are making them out to be a fringe D league team just to avoid having to credit Thibs.

wouldn't the logical thing be, when you are outmanned, to slow the game down and reduce the number of possessions....set up Gasol in the post..he could kick it out to McD or Moore?

I try and respect your thoughts but it becomes difficult when you post stuff like this. They are missing min. 3 guys per game that almost got them to the Eastern Conf. Finals. How many guys that played last night even played in that series against Cleveland? If you think that's the same team you are watching out there now you need your eyes checked.

Let's not blame this loss on injuries. Miami was missing guys too, and they still managed to put up 129 points.
