OKC had 2 in their pocket still, I think. A reverse Chris Webber!

Durant is playing one of the dumbest games of his career.

15-16 Warriors 54-5
95-96 Bulls 53-6

Is there any way the Warriors lose 7 out of 23?

Oh my ...

Thibodeau to help Warriors with championship defense

Tom Thibodeau's consulting tour is stopping in Northern California, where the defensive guru will try to mend the Sacramento Kings' 25th-ranked defense at the request of Kings head coach George Karl, according to CSN Bay Area.

The most troubling detail from Karl's session with the media on Wednesday was when he revealed Thibodeau's next stop: The 54-5 Golden State Warriors, who already sport a top-five defense and already are seemingly unstoppable.

Think about that: Just when it looks like we should call it a season because the Warriors are unbeatable, there's a chance they could be getting even better.

Besides former Cleveland Cavaliers coach David Blatt (.675 win percentage), Thibodeau has the best winning percentage of active coaches not in the NBA (.647, 16th all-time).

Thibodeuau reportedly is looking to fine-tune his offensive chops after parting ways with the Chicago Bulls following five seasons, and learning from Steve Kerr's Warriors (best offense) and Karl's Kings (13th) is a good game plan.

Karl said he thinks he and his staff can learn from Thibodeau, and vice versa: "I think he's intrigued by our offense and we're probably intrigued by his defense," Karl said.

Thibodeau will remain with the Kings until Saturday, according to Karl, which means Thibodeau could be joining the Warriors as early as Sunday in Los Angeles against the Lakers or Monday vs. the Orlando Magic.

Thibodeau has ties to several Kings players — including Rajon Rondo (Boston Celtics), Marco Bellinelli (Chicago Bulls), and DeMarcus Cousins and Rudy Gay (Team USA) — and could be auditioning for Karl's job given the discord between him and Cousins and the front office.

Detractors can knock Thibs all they want, but the guy gets results (255-139 career record). His teams are as tough and work as hard as any in the league, and they constantly overachieve under tough circumstances. He will be the hottest coaching candidate on the market, perhaps second only to Luke Walton or Jeff Van Gundy.

Yes, but he's not a blast to be around, so who cares?

Yea. A guy that makes my shitty draft picks seem tradeable. What a horrible employee to have.

At least he understands that his offensive schemes stink. That's a start.

The Spurs, Clips n Thunda are very talented.. This GS squad is legendary.

I understand perfectly what you're saying, it's just sometimes you have to be careful how you word things, people get the wrong idea.

I was being serious, I think this team is legendary.. I'd be pretty surprised if they don't win 74 games and breeze through the playoffs for a repeat. I do think they lose tonight though.

Probably said this already, but it's so cool that the Warriors, of all teams, are the ones on this run, revitalizing what was always a passionate, big-city basketball fanbase after missing 17 out of 18 postseasons. It'd be much less fun if it were the Magic or Rockets or something. They're basically the NBA's Blackhawks.

I was responding to Bryan, think he's got his doubts about where this team is going down in history.

I don't know, that Luke Walton looks like he'd put some GHB in your drink when you're not looking.

This team is getting bounced in the first round.

Book it.

I still get a feeling they can be taken. Cleveland gave them a tougher run than it would appear. Memphis also gave them a run. I wanted the Clippers and not the Rockets to play them last season.

I think the lack of a post game may be their undoing. You can game plan for their jump shot game during the playoffs. There are legitimately 3 teams that can beat them. S.A. OKC and the Clippers. S.A. has the best chance followed by OKC then the Clippers.

It is going to be a dogfight from the semis on no matter who they play. They will have a tougher road than they had last season. That's for sure.

They are a lot better than they were last year. Every statisitical marker shows that. Steph and Draymond Green are a lot better. Klay is better. That was their first deep run in the postseason. It's flawed to look at last year's postseason run and project that on to this team.

SA can beat them. OKC has a very small chance, and probably no chance at all. Clippers have no chance. Cavs have no chance.

Clippers have zero shot at beating them. That would go five games, tops.

The Spurs are better and so is OKC. G.S. is playing better but they have exactly the same roster. They don't have any sort of low post game and I'm from the school where jump shots start missing on tired legs. They are not the most talented team though they have the best player. It's going to be interesting once the playoffs start.
