Fine. Good. But Matt Haselback replaces him? They couldn't get a bigger name? Don't they have to replace Keyshon still?

What's more interesting is Florio writes that Berman and Jackson could be gone after this year.

I try to catch Rob Riggle. That's about it.

I do like Amy Trask on "That Other Pregame Show" buried on CBS sports network

I guess falling asleep and farting during the show didn't go over too well.

He probably really got fired for his conservative political views, though.

Hasselbeck joins the recently-retired Charles Woodson at the big desk. Woodson replaces Keyshawn Johnson.

Fire Berman, Cris Carter, Skip Bayless, Stephen A. Smith, Chris Broussard, and Lou Holtz while you're at it. ESPN may become watchable again.

It may take more than that. But a step in the right direction.

They'll probably have him do live things via satellite from Chicago or his home in Florida. Like Clayton and Shefter do sometimes.

This is to avoid the ageism and orangeism lawsuit.

He was fired from his main gig. The big desk on Sundays and Mondays. They just gave him some other bullshit to do. So I was right. Never question me.

This move was announced last week.

Btw, how many people you know get fired, and then sign a two year contract extension?

The TV world is different.

Jawarski got fired from Monday Night Football but they still let his cracker ass talk on ESPN shows during the week.

I remember him saying in an interview last year that the travel was getting to him a bit. He can relocate to Florida for most of the year and do 5 minutes 4x/week and that's it.

I didn't lose. It was a push out by ESPN but they just allowed Ditka to say it was his decision as a courtesy.

Julie DiCaro called him. Told him he is in a "protected class". Old and disabled. They can't fire him, but they can push him off into a corner and still pay him.

He's the director of football initiatives and special programming. Please join me in congratulating Ditka on this newly created role of importance to the station.
